MCL recommends using the Baja Design wiring harness for your installation. It comes with a fuse holder, relay that will turn your lights off when the ignition is turned off, pig tail for 2 lights and voltage feed lines. Comes complete with 6 foot wire run, fuse and holder, relay to turn off lights when bike is turned off, duel pig tail with matching connectors for 2 lights and waterproof panel mount switch. Using this wiring harness is really "plug and play" The (2) plugs, plug directly into (2) lights, then mount the switch and run the main line under your gas tank back to your battery. No crimping, striping, soldering or connectors to add, it's all done for you.
Larry Says, I installed a Soltec wiring harness on my own ST-1300 and it really is a simple installation. Just plug the lights in, run the main power back to the battery and then mount the switch near your handlebars, that's it. Baja uses first class heavy insulated wire and shielding on this unit. It gets my ***** (5 star rating).
